How awesome that he can actually win such a conservative tv show?
Anna Pavlova performing the Dying Swan blew my mind when I watched for the first time, and I keep coming back to it. It was choreographed for her in 1905 by Michel Fokine to the music of Camille Saint-Saens and it's been done a million times since by others, but nobody does it like Pavlova. She is just as much an actress as a dancer.
Finally: I have decided I have to learn russian. I lööv that language. I am also reading War & Peace now and I'm completely absorbed by it. Coincidentally they are showing a quite new adaption of it on tv right now and I just saw the first episode today. I have to say they fast forward a little bit too fast sometimes but I'm very happy with the choice of actor for the part of Prince Bolkonsky (hot) so all is forgiven.
Oh, I should end this post before Lauren realises she shouldn't leave me alone with the site. But she is after all partly to blame for this sickly obsession. One might say she introduced me to the drug, while a certain other person (you know who you are) pulled me deep down with the Jacques and his kin.
