Maya Deren!

I went to London last week and at Tate Modern I saw this short film from the 1940's, Meshes of the Afternoon by Maya Deren. Maya Deren was an avant-garde filmmaker (and a choreographer, dancer, writer, poet and photographer(!)) who worked in the US during the 1940's and 50's. I was completely hypnotized buy this film.
