My Lady of the Park

So, I have been feeling kinda down. Just because. Maybe it's the damn weather that seems to please everybody but me. Or the pursue of an ok job is just taking its toll. Why do I see so many morons not only working but actually ruling the world?

I decided to go to the park, the Olympic Green park. I needed a sign. Or maybe just a bit of a tan (who am I kidding?). Getting both would be a plus, anyway.

I think I got one. I met a beautiful lady. We talked. I took some corny pictures. She calmed me down. I feel powerful again (let's rule the world, Carolina!). So this is how the conversation went:

Nadia and I are going to start dressing alike. On Saturday we're doing power dress. Including business lunch. Yes, we're so busy we work on a Saturday. I'll write a report afterwards, but I can say now that I expect better service and not having to show my ID at Systembolaget (that place we have to go to buy alcohol).

A plea

I'm so crazy codependent in my relationship, Ed had to sit me down yesterday to prepare me for us having to be apart for... 2 weeks... in December. Awesome. I'm that crazy.


But I kinda saw that one comin'. And since I'm already going to meet the "in-laws" next year for the (drums, please) World Cup and I cant afford the round the world trip to Brazil, I might be destined to spend the holidays crying all by myself. Like Bridget Jones. Unless...

I went on a job interview the other day and they asked me to send in a sample of something I've written. So I started going through my stuff looking for an essay of some sort. I found nothing because I've kept nothing. But I did find tons and tons of little drawings and other nonsense my friends and I did in school when should have been taking notes.
